Introducing Lego Party: A New Multiplayer Experience for LEGO Enthusiasts
During this year’s Summer Game Fest, a brand-new LEGO game was unveiled that immediately drew comparisons to the popular Mario Party series. Titled Lego Party! (yes, with an exclamation point), this game promises to deliver fun-filled multiplayer action featuring LEGO bricks and mini-figures.
What Is Lego Party? Features and Gameplay
Developed by SMG Studio, the Australian team behind hit titles like Moving Out, Lego Party! is a lively party game packed with 60 mini-games, hundreds of unique LEGO mini-figures, and a variety of board game elements built entirely out of LEGO bricks. Instead of traditional Power Stars, players will compete to collect Golden Bricks, adding a playful twist to the classic party game formula.
Impressive Details and Game Content
- Contains approximately 1 million LEGO bricks
- Features over 300 mini-figures
- Offers more than 700 trillion possible minifigure combinations
These figures highlight just how expansive and customizable the game is, promising a rich and varied experience for players.
Release Platforms and Launch Date
A first-look trailer confirmed that Lego Party! is scheduled for release later in 2025. The game will be available on multiple platforms, including PC via Steam, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, ensuring broad accessibility for gamers everywhere.
Additional LEGO Announcements at Summer Game Fest 2025
Interestingly, Lego Party! isn’t the only new LEGO game announced during the event. Just moments before, we got a glimpse of Lego Voyagers, an adorable cooperative game developed by Light Studio, the creators of Lego Builder’s Journey.
Published by the acclaimed indie publisher Annapurna Interactive, Lego Voyagers offers a Split Fiction-style Friends Pass, allowing two players to team up with just one copy of the game—perfect for cooperative play.
